A competent accountant is sought for our well-established chartered certified accounting business. This role is originally considered part-time, with the potential for future increase in working hours. Applications are accepted from both freelance accountants and anyone actively seeking work.

The preferred applicant should have gained professional experience in an accountancy practice setting during the past two years. They should have demonstrated recent expertise in preparing statutory accounts for limited companies following UK accounting standards, as well as sole trader and partnership accounts using incomplete records and software. Professional expertise in personal and corporate tax is crucial, along with a high level of proficiency in IT, since our firm mostly operates via cloud-based systems.

As a versatile and amiable company, we cater to a diverse range of clientele and are seeking a collaborative individual who will provide assistance to both our clients and colleagues. Please note that this position is mostly office-based and requires a convenient commute to our office located in the heart of Ilminster. The compensation will be contingent upon the level of experience, and the recommended hourly rate is just for the purpose of listing.
